A week ago this last Sunday the satillite stopped working. After many frustrating phone calls to Dish Network we finally got a service technican Friday. He replaced our dish and in about an hour and a half we had TV again. We watched a lot of movies Monday – Thursday. I didn’t get a lot of knitting done. The house was too quiet. It was bad enough not being able to watch live television, but we couldn’t even watch what we had recorded.
I have been working on the second Vesper sock. I haven’t touched my sweater. I don’t think I’m ready to tackle 1the sleeves just yet.
JessaLu & Roger came over Saturday night. We had Chinese for dinner, which was pretty good. While Tom & Roger worked in the garage, putting the transmission back in his CJ Jeep. Jess & I spun. It was good to dust off the wheel. It was fun spinning with a nice warm fire in the fireplace, with the television on!!
I have been doing some beading. I’ll have to take pictures for my next blog post. I went to my favorite beading store in Poughkeepsie. I Dream of Beading. I purchased enough supplies to keep me busy for a few weeks.
That’s about all for now. I’ll try to get some more knitting done before the next post.
Happy Knitting!

Ack! No TV? I would have gone mad!!! I hate to think of myself as someone who is addicted to the idiot box…but I am. I don’t know what I’d do without TV for a week!
I suppose I’d probably get more knitting done, though.
No TV? I’d've gone stir crazy. Just knowing that I couldn’t watch it would be bad enough. Glad you got it fixed! My best knitting time is TV time.
Many times I knit and don’t turn on the TV … but … if I couldn’t turn it on … will that’s a different story. Glad you’ve gotten it back.
